IBY General manager met with International monetary fund’s Delegation

Mr.Ahmed Thabit , the General Manager considered with the International monetary fund’s Delegation the opportunities of biliteral co-operation between the Bank and the fund, and the ways that could support and develop this relationship .The two parties have discussed payments system in Yemen and the guarantor procedures of its improvement , in addition to manners of controlling over outgoing Incoming transfers using modern technology which allow the precise learing of those transfers, and exchanging acknowledgments regarding transfers.
The meeting also went onto methods by which the Bank may contribute on financing small and intermediate projects. On this regard emphasized Mr.A.Thabit . that the Bank encourages getting in such funding which includes employing work force , supporting economy and reducing unemployment .
Mr. Moh’d Al-Amery , Board Member , Mr. Adel K. Deputy General manager and Board member and Mr.Yahya S. A.G.M / Operations attend the meeting along with numbers of involved Dept’s heads.
Also Mr. Ahmed Thabit received at the Head office, Mrs. S. Hoster Counselor of Small Industries and Project’s Financing , in the meeting they discussed how the Bank could contributes on funding small projects’ construction , because it forms a support for the efforts of improving of development of native economy.
The meeting has been attend by Assistance General Manager and concerned Dept Head.
